Barbara is a veteran of the United States Army and a graduate of Cornell University. She holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (ILR), and associate’s degree in Addictions Counseling. She has expertise in substance abuse therapy, family therapy, and mental health counseling in addition to human resources, leadership, and personal development.
Barbara is also the founder and business owner of BarbaraTurman.com, where she provides individually tailored coaching sessions to maximize the uniqueness of each client. She has provided professional contracting services to the following organizations: Kodak Alaris, Barilla, Rochester Institute of Technology, Verizon Communications, ComPsych Employee Assistance Program, Balancing Life Issues Employee Assistance Program, and Rochester Works and others.
